We have been big fans of fellow color-lover Mallory’s crochet work for years and are always blown away by what she creates! She began as an avid hobby-crocheter and has become a prolific and skilled pattern designer in our maker community. You can find more from Mallory over on her Instagram and website! Mallory used our Cloudflare Collection colorways to crochet up a dreamy Hygge Burst Blanket using one of her own free patterns!

Take it away, Mallory!

My first impressions of the Cloudflare Collection was that it was a very wearable collection. Every colour is a perfect blend of Hue Loco's dye style with practical-meets fun. In the collection itself, you have cool tones and warm tones that work beautifully on their own, or pair well with other colours throughout the collection. As a whole set-they compliment each other perfectly.

I instantly knew that I wanted to make a blanket with this collection. Not only are these very wearable colours; but perfect for home decor pieces as well. I chose to work up solid-sunburst granny squares in an attempt to really show off each of the colourways. I love when you can use variegated yarns to do the colour-work for you. It ends up being a simple and relaxing project to work on. I'm so happy with the final result, the blanket came together beautifully. Nicole and her Hue Loco team continue to produce yarns that are stunning and the results: projects that work up into heirloom quality pieces.

Really like your sunburst blanket and I am having trouble to find the yarn you used. Seems to be out of stock. Any suggestions. Thanks
