OMGeode!

Our Geode Collection is now open for preorder, just in time for spring!

These ten colorways draw their inspiration from the rich and varied world of crystalline geodes. The subtly shifting colors and reflected light of these magical stones are packed into this palette in the form of soft, brilliant color and muted tones from all across the spectrum. 

This collection is a break from Hue Loco tradition in the sense that there isn’t a speckle in sight! We are paying homage to these otherworldly formations with a color story constructed of semisolids and gently tonal colorways and we are in love with the results!

As we developed this collection and the colorways took shape we realized that we had to reach out to the pastel-queen herself, Chantal of Knitatude, to collaborate with us on the release of this collection. Chantal is a knitwear designer based in Calgary Alberta, Canada and is constantly posting her gorgeous creations over on her Instagram!

Here is Chantal to tell you a little bit more about herself!

I am the purple-haired, potty-mouth knitter behind Knitatude. Driven by my love of designing and yarn, I am all about designing beginner-friendly patterns that fit. Each pattern is meant to be fun to make, slightly challenging at times, and actually wearable. If I’m not whipping up some pastel goodness, you can find me snuggling with my two dachshunds and reading a romance book. Check me out on my social media feeds.

Mallory of Nautikrall Crochet is combining her passions for Geology (she has a Geology degree!) and crochet by using her free Hygge Burst Hexie Blanket pattern with all ten Geode colorways to create a stunning, mega cozy blanket!

If you want to make one for yourself, you’ll need a Geode Full Set on DK as well as a color of your choice to join all of your hexies! Our Earl Grey colorway is a great match for Mallorys chosen color and complements this pastel palette perfectly!
