The blue-footed booby is a seabird native to the tropical regions of the eastern Pacific Ocean. The name "booby" for this bird comes from the Spanish word "bobo," meaning "stupid" or "foolish," because the bird is known for its clumsy behavior on land and its apparent lack of fear of humans.
These 4 skeins are a soft value fade starting with a barely-there icy blue, moving through soft cornflower and sky blue before landing in a rich navy with moments of dusky lavender and plum and peachy speckles throughout.
